RAW MATERIAL
Cotton production follows key steps: it begins with harvesting, traditionally by hand but now predominantly mechanical. Subsequently, ginning separates the fibers from the seeds.
The fibers are then cleaned to remove impurities, followed by spinning, where they are combed and twisted into yarns.
This process transforms cotton from a raw fiber to yarn ready for textile use, combining tradition and modern technology.
THE KNITTING
The process of creating a knitted fabric, known as knitting, is carried out on a rectilinear frame loom.
The resulting fabrics are left to settle for a day to regain their natural shrinkage following tension and elongation caused by the weaving process.
ASSEMBLY OF GARMENTS
Assembly the stage in which the various parts of the garment are assembled: front, back, sleeves, edges and collars.
We use tools such as sewing machines, cutters and linking machines, which require highly specialised operators to guarantee an excellent level of quality of the finished garments
WASHING AND IRONING
All our cotton garments undergo a "mercerization" treatment, a process that increases the fiber's luster and strength, giving it that characteristic softness.
The final ironing enhances the quality of the fabric. After this care, the garment is packaged and ready for sale.
